What a percentage of turnover costs
Commission grows with a good month; a subscription does not. On €5,000 of online turnover a 3% rate is €150 a month, while the WMenu Premium plan has a fixed monthly price and takes no commission on any order. The calculator below runs the same sum on your figures, including the turnover under which a percentage wins.

€1,092 over a year
Break-even turnover: €1,967. Below it a percentage costs less than a fixed fee. Above it, the other way round.
This counts commission on orders and nothing else. The payment provider's own fee stays in every scenario — WMenu neither takes it nor waives it.
The subscription divided by the commission rate
- For every €100 of subscription
At a 3% rate that equals €3,333 of sales a month; at 10%, €1,000; at 30%, €333. Below that the percentage wins; above it, the difference grows with every order.
- The rate in your contract, not the advert
Divide the commission on your last invoice by what you sold. Uber Eats, Just Eat or Deliveroo charge differently when the driver is yours or theirs, so the figure on a comparison site is rarely yours.
- 3%€3,333
- 10%€1,000
- 30%€333
The higher the rate, the sooner the fixed fee pays off.
The card fee stays either way
- The same under any model
When a guest pays by card, the payment operator charges its fee whether or not the app takes commission. On WMenu that is Stripe: 1.9% + €1 per payment, and WMenu itself takes nothing.
- That is why it is not in the comparison
Adding it would blur the only difference that matters here: a percentage for the app against a fixed fee.
On every channel and with every way to pay
- Delivery, pickup and table
WMenu takes no commission on a delivery, pickup or table order, by card or in cash.
- A fixed cost in the budget
The fee goes into the plan for the whole year; commission rises with every good month.
Your online sales are below break-even
- You sell €2,000 a month online at 3%: the commission is €60.
- Any subscription above that figure costs you more.
It stops paying off when sales grow: every good month raises the app's invoice while the fixed fee does not move.
Your sales are above break-even
- You pay for the plan, with no percentage on orders.
- The difference grows in line with what you sell, so in high season it stays in your till.
It stops paying off when you take a dozen online orders a month: start with the QR menu and your Google profile, and add orders when there is something to count.
Frequently asked questions
Does 0% commission apply to every plan?
Yes. WMenu takes no commission on an order whatever the plan, the channel or the payment method. Online ordering itself is part of the PREMIUM plan; its price is on the pricing page.
What about the card payment fee?
It stays, charged by the payment provider at their own rates. It is the same line in every commercial model, so it does not change the comparison.
At what turnover does the subscription pay off?
At the turnover where the commission equals the subscription: the Premium price divided by your rate. The calculator works out that point for whichever rate you enter.
Can I start without committing?
